The Burden Of Being
By Robby McGhee
The Burden of Being is a puppet musical that shares the story of a recent high school graduate, Aaron Bradway, and his journey towards self acceptance.
Being one of the only “monsters” in town has placed a heavy burden on Aaron, but he has overcome these obstacles and we see him as the valedictorian of his high school graduating class. Unfortunately, his family and friends try to ride the wave of his success and Aaron finds himself struggling with all the aspects of life he was taking for granted.
Aaron discovers the hard way that sometimes we have to lose ourselves to appreciate the details that make our lives matter most.
The Burden of Being is a comedic tale of love, loss, and life choices.
The Burden of Being was inspired by a variety of Milwaukee improvisers, actors, and musicians.
